Abby Ledda is a fifth year badminton player that was born and raised in Edmonton. Her badminton career started at the young age of five years old, in which she continued through high school at Old Scona Academic and represented the Canadian Junior National Team. She has contributed to King’s badminton history winning gold at Provincials in team and individual events. She is also a two-times silver National’s medallist recipient with teammate Cecilia Wolski. Abby is currently studying for her Bachelor of Commerce with a minor in psychology. She intends to pursue a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy after she completes her undergraduate degree. Abby demonstrates confidence, passion, and perseverance when she is on court. Off court, you can always hear her cheering on her teammates, so far as to bring whistles and bike horns to tournaments. As co-captain, she is a pillar of support and motivation for the team and prioritizes mental and physical health as a student-athlete. Abby is so grateful for the King's community and the opportunity to represent such an amazing school!
