2024 New Recruits!

Kadison MecLeod-The King’s University women’s volleyball program would like to welcome Kadison McLeod to our 2024-25 roster! Kadison is a 5’10” outside hitter from Sexsmith, Alberta where her high school team finished with a bronze medal at 2A provincials. Kadison was Athlete of the Year at her school in grade 11, and has been a captain on numerous teams. We are very much looking forward to both the skill and leadership that Kadison will bring to our team, and wish her all the best as she continues to play with her South Peace Volleyball club team in Grande Prairie.

Taylor Filipek- We are excited to announce the signing of Taylor Filipek. Taylor  is our newest Eagle and will join The King's University Women’s Basketball team in September 2024. Taylor comes from a strong basketball program at Sherwood Park’s Bev Facey High School. Taylor is a natural athlete that has played sports such as soccer, softball and swimming all her life. She committed to basketball at the age of 8 joining the Suns club and has continued on her career from there. Some of her hobbies are reading and doing art projects when she is not playing or training for basketball. While at Kings's, Taylor will be taking Bachelor of Science with a majnusor in biology and minor in chemistry. Taylor will be a great addition to the King's Women's basketball program. She brings a great attitude and hard work ethic to help our program grow and succeed. We’re really looking forward to having Taylor join our Eagle’s family in the Fall.”  ~ Torey Hill  -Assistant Head Coach, Eagle’s Women's Basketball
