We asked Coach Scott-

Having an undefeated first semester is an incredible achievement but can be tough to live up to with the pressure that comes from it, what are your plans coming into the second semester to ensure your team can continue to grow and achieve even greater heights?

"From the start of the season our team has been well aware that our conference has a lot of great teams in women's volleyball, and although we are happy to end the first semester with a successful record, we know that the second semester is only going to get harder. As a way to help prepare for the semester ahead, both our men's and women's teams will be travelling to Mexico the first week of January to train alongside another ACAC team. This training not only allows our team to enjoy some time together and do some prep and team building, but allows us the opportunity to scrimmage with another strong team. Our team has been working towards this trip for a few years, so we are very excited to have the chance to train in another country, and find ways to keep challenging ourselves and growing as players."

Thank you Coach.

We asked Coach Teliske his plans moving into the second semester-

"Second semester training has already started for my team as they go through a new workout program to prepare themselves for the rest of the season. We will train as much as possible over the break with giving time for studies, family as well as some well deserved rest. We will continue to improve our skills as we still have a lot of work ahead of us to be ready for provincials which is our end goal. Although the biggest thing for our team going into second semester is the same as the first, that would be accountability and team dynamic. I will give them the tools and practices they need to succeed but it comes down to the effort they individually put forward in and out of practice. When all 16 guys do what they need to do and we can come together and help each other out and come together a one, that is when we will overcome any challenge in front of us."

Thank you Coach.

We look forward in seeing both team's success in the second semester!
