Kristyn Shannon | 4th Year | Middle

Kristyn Shannon is currently in her 4th year of eligibility as a King's Eagle, having spent her high school years at Archbishop Jordan in Sherwood Park, and competing with the Northern Alberta Volleyball Club (NAVC). Kristyn is passionate about the sport of volleyball, which encourages both her and her teammates to perform at their best. Her joyful personality and positive attitude are key characteristics that Kristyn brings to the court in both practices and games. She is someone who can be counted on by her teammates, and is able to embrace adversity with a smile and a hunger to succeed. Kristyn is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and upon graduation this year, she hopes to pursue a Masters in counselling Psychology.

"Her charismatic personality, communication skills and approachability are what make her such a positive and passionate player. Always someone to lead by example, and whose loyalty and integrity are characteristics that make it easy for others to follow, Kristyn is truly a role model for what an Eagle should be! KShan, thank you for being the 'glue' that holds our team together, and for how you have selflessly given so much to our team and to our program!" - Head Coach Grace Scott

Jada Lea | 4th Year | Setter

Jada is a very firey competitor who brings grit and tenacity to her team.

"She's a player that always has a 'fire in her eyes', which makes everyone around her want to play better. When Jada plays she has a huge presence on the court, and a focused intensity that is perfectly balanced with a sense of calm. Always positive, always encouraging, Jada is not only a tremendous leader on the court, but will be an amazing leader in whatever career she chooses to follow! Jada, thanks for being the heart of our team these past few years!" - Head Coach Grace Scott
