Eagle's Basketball
The Men's and Women's team played on Friday, December 3, 2021 against Augustana Vikings. Both teams fell short and went 0-1 for the night. The men's final score was 76-97 and the women's team finished 64-79. The following day, Saturday, December 4, the basketball teams faced NAIT Ooks. This was the final game of the semester and the King's gym was packed with excited fans. The women's team unfortunately lost this game and went 0-2 for the weekend. So far this semester they played 5 games with a 1-4 record making them sixth in their division. On the other hand, the men's team came out on top and defeated the Ooks 90-79. This victory is a date to remember for the Head Coach, Jay Ouellette, as he gets his first ACAC win under his belt. The men's basketball team finished the semester with a 1-4 record which puts them seventh in their division.
Eagles Volleyball
On Friday both the men's and women's volleyball team traveled to Grande Prairie to face the Wolves. The men's team battled back from a 1-2 set deficit and won the game in 5, the final set was a nail-biter that ended 15-13. The women's team swept GPRC Wolves 3-0 that night and casted a foreshadow for later that weekend. The volleyball teams had their final game of the semester at home against the Concordia Thunder on Sunday, December 5. Both teams wasted no time at all and won their games in 3 sets sweeping the Thunder back home. This puts the men's team at the top of their division with a record of 5-1. The women's team finishes the semester third in their division and a 5-1 record as well.
