The Eagles women's volleyball program is excited to anounce the transfer and signing of Katie Wood. Katie is a transfer athlete who played one year as a libero at Holland College in PEI. She is originally from Regina Saskatchewan and graduated from Miller Comprehensive High School in 2018. In just her first year in the ACAA, she was named libero of the year as well as being a recipient of the CCAA National Scholar Award.
Katie is looking forward to coming to King’s and enrolling in the Leder School of Business while competing for our Eagles Volleyball team. Having participated at a high level in junior javelin and shot put at the Saskatchewan High School Provincials in 2016, and having played on Team Saskatchewan for the 16U Provincial Volleyball team, the eagles are excited to have a player with Katie’s athleticism, experience and leadership join for the 2021-22 season!
