Grace is both the Director of Athletics and the Women’s Volleyball Coach at King’s. She is a graduate of Providence University College in Manitoba having earned a Bachelor of Arts as well as Master of Arts in Educational Studies. She also graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Physical Education. Grace is entering her sixteenth year at King’s.

During her time of coaching in the ACAC (19 years), Grace has been a CCAA Female Mentor Coach on seven occasions, has her NCCP Level 3 coach certification and is an NCCP Facilitator in the Competition Stream. She has also been selected as the ACAC North Division Coach of the Year four times and a nominee for the CCAA Coach of the Year three times. In 2019 Grace received the CCAA Women’s Coach of the Year, in addition to the ACAC Coaching Excellence Award.

Grace views sports as an opportunity to build into the lives of young people and to help them develop not only their physical skills, but also become stronger people and leaders. Her favourite quote is from John Wooden: “Sports do not build character. They reveal it.”

Grace loves being active and enjoying the outdoors including hiking, kayaking, and playing softball.
