Alyssa comes from Provost Alberta, and played middle for TKU from 2009-2014. After graduation she participated in the CCAA Female Apprenticeship Program for the 2014/15 season, acting as an assistant coach for TKU. She continued assistant coaching for the 2015/16 season, and also became the team trainer. In 2016 she moved back to Provost and took a distance role as the team trainer from 2016-2021, until she went on maternity leave 2021-2023. She returns this season as the team trainer for the 2023/24 season at TKU. Alyssa also has been coaching volleyball at the high school and club level from 2016-present, and runs the local club program for the Provost area.
Alyssa currently lives in Provost with her husband and two children. She holds a Masters in Athletic Therapy, a diploma as a Physical Therapy Assistant, and is currently the manager at the local gym in Provost.
