Jamie is an active member of the Edmonton soccer community, both as a player and as a coach. At the youth level, Jamie earned her way onto Team Alberta earning a bronze medal at the 2011 U16 All-Star National Championships and earned her spot on the first female FC Edmonton Academy program. Jamie continued her playing career at the University of Alberta earning an Academic All-Canadian recognition while earning two degrees, a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Education which allows her to combine her passions in her everyday life, sports and teaching. As a coach, Jamie has worked as a technical lead with Edmonton Drillers and Sherwood Park Phoenix. Now, Jamie continues her coaching career at the King's University as a Goalkeeper coach as well as with Louis St. Laurent in their Soccer Academy. Her coaching and her teaching philosophy is that each individual is unique and they all learn in their own way. Jamie strives to create a safe, open and caring environment through which athletes can grow, take risks and strive to reach their fullest potential.
