Men's Basketball

Jay Ouellette has been an active member of the Basketball community for over 20 years as a player, coach and administrator. He has played at both the high school, and collegiate level. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, passion, and desire to The Kings University Men’s  Basketball Program. Jay’s passion for the sport can be felt throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area. He is one of the founders of the Parkland Pride Basketball program, President and Technical Director of the Edmonton Youth Basketball Association, and a Director with Alberta Basketball. Prior to joining King’s University Jay has had great success coaching and developing athletes at various levels from community, club, and high school. Many of the Parkland athletes he has worked with can be found playing throughout the ACAC. As a coach Jay and his Parkland Elite teams have secured several provincial, and tournament championships. Most notably an undefeated season in Parkland Prides inaugural year with his girls program, and most recently winning the U18 Men’s 2019 Western Canadian Championship in Langley BC.

Jay continues to be an ambassador to the sport developing players, coaches, and programs throughout the various organizations he has ties to. It is this passion and diversity we feel will be a great asset to the Men’s Basketball Program.
