With a distinguished coaching journey spanning over 30 years, Naeem Haque is a seasoned mentor who has left an indelible mark on the CCAA badminton. Taking the helm of the unranked Concordia University badminton team in 1977, Naeem Haque orchestrated a remarkable transformation, propelling the team to claim the coveted #1 rank in the CCAA within a mere six years.
In 2014, Naeem Haque embarked on a new journey by starting the badminton program at Kings University. Naeem and his coaching team led the King’s University Badminton team to consecutive Provincial Championship in 2021 and 2022 season. In addition, the team achieved an impressive #2 rank in the CCAA during the 2021/2022 season.
Naeem Haque garnering the title of ACAC Coach of the Year on numerous occasions, as well as twice earning the title of CCAA Coach of the Year. In addition, to Naeem coaching achievements, he also Alberta and Canada 55+ Games as a Double and Mixed Doubles champion. Naeem Haque remains an inspiration to the badminton community.
