My name is Mahdi Ahmadi and I'm from Iran. I will be starting my second year at King's University, where I am majoring in business. I have been competing in badminton professionally for 10 years. Some of my achievements include being invited to Iran national team camps, ranked 1st in U23 men's singles Canada, gold medal in 2022 Prairie men's singles and mixed doubles Canada. Recently, I was honored to receive the CCAA overall and badminton player of the year awards, became the CCAA Mixed doubles national champion, and earned the ACAC rookie and player of the year titles. I am excited to continue my journey at King's University.
